Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984, is an actor and comedian known for her dry sense of humor. She plays April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation. It was with The Jeannie Tate Show the actress debuted her web show after performing sketch comedy as well as improvised and various forms of improvisation at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington, Delaware) is the daughter Bernadette Plaza who is an attorney by profession, and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her father is Puerto Rican while her mother is Irish as well as English. Plaza had a stroke 2004, while she was enrolled at college. She was diagnosed with expressive aphasia and suffered an ephemeral period of involuntary paralysis. The recovery process is now complete. Plaza has been performing sketches and improv at the New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. In the city of New York, she has been performing stand-up comedy at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street and The Jeannie Tate Show as Robin Gibney as well as the debut season of Terrible Decisions with Ben Schwartz.
