Rene Russo, born in Burbank, California on September 2, 1970, to Shirley Balocca who was a factory worker/barmaid as well as Nino Russo. Her father, a mechanical engineer and sculptor, left her family around the age of two. The mother of the child raised Rene and her sister Toni alone.
